Restorical worked with the property owner to be proactive in addressing likely environmental concerns on the property. Restorical worked with Machine and Foundry to locate their evidence of historic insurance coverage dating back to the early 1960s. Based on Restorical’s findings, Restorical recommended Machine and Foundry work with an insurance coverage attorney and environmental consultant. When pollution was discovered on the property, the insurance coverage identified and organized by Restorical was utilized to fund a complete investigation and cleanup of the property. When Restorical found the property the cost of addressing the likely environmental impacts would have exceeded the value of the property. As a result of Restoricals efforts, a contaminated site that would have been left to taxpayers to clean up, got a No Further Action letter from the state and is now a piece of property that can be marketed.
