Restorical was hired by a family, who owned an estate, to assist with legacy pollution. Restorical helped take a run-down gas station, located across from an elementary school, that served as a gateway to an up and coming community and found the funding needed through insurance to start an investigation and clean up of the property. Due to the site’s high profile it was complicated getting the family, their attorney and their realtor on the same page. As a result of getting their historic insurance to begin paying for the investigation, prospective property owners could see the site was not too bad. The site was sold as a result of the now known environmental issues in 2006, and redeveloped into a high-end restaurant.
